Organization: Community Development Centre–CODEC
Position: Academic Support Officer–Secondary Education
Location: Refugee camps in Teknaf & Ukhia, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh
Salary: Tk. 45,000 (Monthly)
Employment Type: Contractual
Workplace: At office �

Educational / Experience Requirements
Master’s degree (MSc) in Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry
Bachelor’s degree (BSc) considered for female candidates
Minimum 2 years’ proven experience teaching Mathematics/Science at secondary level or above
Strong English communication skills (IELTS advantage)
Practical knowledge of science lab operations
Ability to provide academic support and mentoring
Must work with diverse & marginalised communities �

Job Responsibilities / Objectives
The role involves:
Deliver regular classes in Math & Science as per Pearson Edexcel Curriculum
Prepare and implement effective interactive lesson plans
Assess student progress and conduct remedial support
Support teachers to improve subject content & pedagogy
Conduct practical science sessions safely
Monitor learning outcomes and report gaps
Collaborate with teachers & community stakeholders
Perform any tasks assigned by authority
Abide by PSEA protection policies and ensure safe work environment �
